Wallpapppers is where you’ll find reimagined wallpapers for your screens, with unique designs crafted to give your setup a fresh look and personality.

1. Introduction

Wallpapppers ("we") is run from North Macedonia, and we are responsible for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy. It explains what we collect when you use the Service, how we use, share, and store it, and which other companies collect data on our pages.

2. Authentication

Wallpapppers uses Google Firebase Authentication to manage accounts. You can sign in with email, Google, or Apple. These providers may collect basic data such as your email address, name, and device information. We only store your email address and name. If you sign in with Apple and choose Hide My Email, the address we store is the private relay address Apple gives us, not your personal one.

3. Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Personal information

Email address (for account creation and communication)
Name (optional, for personalization)
Payment information (processed securely by third party providers)

Wallpaper activity

Browsing and search activity, such as the categories and wallpapers you view
The wallpapers you like and download
Usage data and basic statistics

Payments

Plans bought on this website are paid through our payment provider. We store a billing reference, your plan and its status, never your card details
Plans bought in our iPhone app are paid through Apple. Apple sends us the transaction ID, the product you bought, its price and currency, whether it renews, whether Apple is retrying a failed payment, and its refund and expiry dates, never your payment details

Collected automatically

Your IP address, browser, operating system, device type and screen size
The pages you visit, the site that referred you, and how you use a page, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement
Cookies and similar identifiers set by our analytics and advertising partners, described below

4. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and maintain the Service
Improve our AI-generated wallpaper collection and how we present it
Measure how the Service is used, so we can find problems and fix them
Show advertising to visitors who do not subscribe to Pro
Process transactions and send billing information
Send important notifications and updates
Respond to support requests
Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

5. Data sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent your account details, such as your email address. We may share information with:

Service providers that help us operate the Service, such as cloud infrastructure and AI providers
Analytics and advertising partners, namely Google, Microsoft and Hotjar, which collect the information described in sections 10 and 11 directly from your browser or device
Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights
Business partners in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

6. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption, secure servers, and regular security assessments.

7. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the services. Some data may be retained when required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Request the deletion of your data
Object to the processing of your data
Receive your data in a portable format
Withdraw consent at any time

9. Deleting your account

Deleting your account from the account page cancels any active website subscription immediately, removes your sign-in credentials, and erases your profile, your saved photo, your likes, and your download and browsing records. The deletion cannot be undone. For App Store purchases we keep the Apple transaction identifier, the product and the subscription dates, no longer linked to any account, because Apple keeps sending us updates about the subscription until it ends. A few records are held by the companies that process payments and email on our behalf, and we cannot remove those for you:

Our payment provider keeps invoices and receipts for website purchases, for its own tax and accounting obligations
Apple keeps its own records of App Store purchases, which you can see in the purchase history of your Apple ID
Our email provider keeps a log of messages already sent to your address
If you bought physical merchandise, the print and fulfilment partner keeps your order and shipping details

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription, because we cannot cancel a subscription that Apple bills. While one is still set to renew, the account page asks you to cancel it in Settings on your iPhone or iPad first, then delete your account.

10. Analytics and session recordings

We use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Hotjar to understand how people use the Service, so we can find problems and improve it. These tools set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and record the pages you visit, how you click, scroll and move through them, your device, browser and screen size, the site that referred you, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Microsoft Clarity and Hotjar can also turn those interactions into a replay of a visit. We use this information to understand the Service as a whole and to diagnose problems, not to identify you.

Each provider explains how it handles this data in the Google Privacy Policy, the Microsoft Privacy Statement and the Hotjar Privacy Policy. You can stop Google Analytics from recording your visits with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

11. Cookies and advertising

Our own code does not set tracking cookies. Signing in is handled through Firebase, and we keep your preferences, such as your theme, your signed-in state, and a note of the wallpapers you have viewed in your browser’s local storage. Visitors who do not subscribe to Pro see ads served by Google AdSense. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. Ad providers may also use web beacons, your IP address, and similar identifiers to measure ads and to prevent fraud. Pro subscribers see no advertising at all.

In our mobile app, ads are served by Google AdMob and are not personalized. AdMob may still use your device’s advertising identifier and IP address to limit how often you see the same ad, to measure ads and to prevent fraud. You can reset or delete the advertising identifier in your phone’s settings.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time in Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info, or at youronlinechoices.eu if you are in Europe. Opting out does not remove advertising, it only stops it being tailored to you.

12. International data transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the date below.
