# About us

Wallpapppers is an independent site for AI-generated phone wallpapers, run from North Macedonia.

## Who we are

Wallpapppers is an independent website run from North Macedonia. We make phone wallpapers with AI and publish them here for anyone to browse.

## How the wallpapers are made

Every wallpaper on Wallpapppers is generated with AI. None of them is a photograph, and none is uploaded or copied from another site.

- Each one starts from a text prompt generated for one of our 30 categories, from nature and space to cyberpunk and minimalist.
- An AI image model renders it in a tall 9:16 frame, sized for phone screens.
- Before a new image is published, it is compared with the wallpapers already here, and anything too close to one of them is thrown away.
- An AI model then looks at the finished image and writes its title, description and tags. Its color palette is measured from the image itself.
- Previews on the site carry a small watermark. The file you download is the full quality original, without it.

Because the collection is generated, a mistake can slip through. If a wallpaper looks broken, or you believe it is too close to someone else’s work, write to us and we will look at it and take it down where needed.

## Free to browse

Browsing and previewing every wallpaper is free. Downloading needs a free account, which includes 1 download every 7 days, and Pro removes that limit.

What you may do with a downloaded wallpaper is set out in the licence section of our [Terms of Service](https://wallpapppers.com/terms.md).
